“Betrayal spawns an unexpected night through the streets of Tokyo for two strangers, Sam and Ayaka, left questioning the meaning of love.”
Story
Sam (Emamiyeh) arrives in Tokyo to visit his expat girlfriend Becca (Oliver) – only to be broken up with as soon as he finds his way to her apartment.
Out on the streets of Tokyo alone, he decides to cut his trip short and return to America the next day. Stuck for the night while he waits for his new flight, he makes an unlikely friend in Ayaka (Kitagawa), who reluctantly takes him out with her friends.
They both struggle to communicate due to their language barrier but are forced to rely on each other when betrayal sends their worlds crashing down. Walking through the streets of Tokyo together, they must not only overcome obstacles to understand each other, but must also break down their own walls to understand themselves.

“In the film, Reza Emamiyeh and Tokiko Kitagawa deliver fantastic performances. Despite the long-distance element of the romance, their chemistry is undeniable, and you can’t help but root for them to be together in the end. What’s more, just like Sam and Ayaka, we hardly know either character at first, but their love story will leave you utterly captivated and falling deeply in love with them.” Alan Ng, Film Threat
